The Garden City Award
The Garden City Award is available to all amateur radio operators and short wave listeners worldwide.
Scoring
1. For hearing a QSO with a Darling Downs Radio Club member, one point will be awarded.
2. For working a Darling Downs Radio Club member, two points will be awarded.
3. For working the Darling Downs Radio Club station, VK4WID, three points will be awarded
4. 24 hours must pass before points will be awarded for working the same club member again, regardless of band.
5. All modes accepted, except internet linking modes.
For Vk’s, P29’s, ZL’s and SWL’s
A total of 8 points are required by working or hearing (for SWL’s) members of the Darling Downs Radio Club Inc.
For DX stations
A total of 4 points are required by working or hearing (for SWL’s) members of the Darling Downs Radio Club Inc.
The Award is done in colour, A4 format and will be posted as soon as practicable at an economical rate.
